American struggle for the world's top

America's position as a world superpower is increasingly falling and causes related to the situation grow from day to day. Problems with health care reform, nuclear waste and the problems connected with the huge percentage of oil imports are considered to be the cause of newly formed situation. Most of the energy that is used today in the U.S. comes from fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, crude oil (petroleum) and crude oil, which is the main source of energy in America. All of these energy sources are in non-renewable energy used by U.S. citizens in quantities that do not coincide with environmental policy terms and protocols.

But have no fear of U.S. sanctions since it does not participate in the protocols to reduce the use of harmful substances that cause climate change. As a precursor to the President Barack Obama, George W. Bush, directed doubt in the scientific probability that climate change caused by man's hand so he and his successor decided to refuse to participate in reducing the use of harmful substances. Such decisions of U.S. presidents raise the question of their background.

The first problem arises about topics related to the lack of territory for the extraction of oil. Latest statistics show that U.S. crude oil inventories are sufficient for only 8 years of supply, which proves that the U.S. can no longer rely on their own sources of energy. This situation threatens the U.S. economy is primarily due to the reason that America is the world's largest consumer in the use of petroleum. But after the 1985th The import of crude oil in the U.S. has grown at an incredible pace, and reached a rate of 51% of imported oil annually. The main countries on which America depends in terms of oil are Canada, which exports the largest amount of oil the United States - 23%, and Venezuela, which covers 10,7% of imports. Although the problem of the large percentage of imports mentioned as a major problem, it should be noted that the loss of the ground for drilling oil refers to a huge loss of money that the government receives from foreign oil producers.

For example, last year ecological disaster in Gulf of Mexico was so devastating that Mr. Obama and the entire U.S. economy put in a worse position. The president has sharply dropped while the reputation of British Petroleum has recorded an incredible loss. Although the situation has reached the edge of a lack of oil, America still has an "ace up his sleeve, " that it could re-set on top. Over the past 100 years America draws huge amounts of oil shale (a form of unconventional oil), which is increasingly seen as worthy of replacing crude oil (petroleum). Continent of North America provides the largest amount of area for the extraction of oil shale would therefore America in the near future could become its main exporter. The hope is that investing in this resource could provide a comforting hand of the U.S. economy that is growing fast "rolling downhill".

  Nuclear energy

The increasing number of requests for reducing the use of nuclear energy does not correspond to American ideas, particularly in the last 20 years. U.S. is the world's largest producer of nuclear energy, and covers about 30% of used nuclear energy in the world. The continuing requirements for building new reactors provide financial support for the U.S. economy and so the position America as one of the leading countries in the world. While the entire world is fighting against the harmful use of uranium as an energy source for the properties, America and its president Barack Obama has continually advocated its use. Kyoto Protocol, which is struggling to reduce the use of harmful substances in the world failed to gain U.S. support, according to the statistics presented so far we can conclude that the negative response to America greatly influenced by the request to reduce the use of harmful substances that affect climate change.

Such a situation can be confirmed by the words of Barack Obama who is considered a major protagonist of the use of nuclear energy. In most of his speech emphasized the importance of nuclear energy, but believes that the disarmament of nuclear weapons necessarily required. The President also emphasized that America is in such disarmament must not participate because they will thereby become targets of other countries which are not members of the said Protocol. Second on the list of countries that provide the greatest amount of contaminated material ensures that the absence of U.S. support affects the extinction of the Kyoto Protocol. Linked to this the recent signing of the contract between the U.S. and China to invest in Chinese nuclear power and oil shale, proving once again the American idea of the desire to return to the top of the world.

How much influence will have Barack Obama and his ideas about the Reformed America will show the time is certainly not conducive to further improvement and reduction of climate change in the world.
